Growing up in a small Vermont town pushed me toward a life of “creative culture.” As a way to pass time and express myself, I turned to the arts. What started as a love of film and writing eventually flourished into an overall passion for storytelling, regardless of the medium. In practicing various crafts (directing, writing, acting, illustration), I was able to build an awareness and adaptability like no other, two characteristics I pride myself on. I value the ability to communicate, to believe in one’s self, and to set goals and achieve them.
In May 2018, after studying in Toulouse and Paris, I graduated with a degree in Marketing and French Language and Culture. After gaining experience as an assistant at La Monte Productions in Beverly Hills, working at a marketing agency in downtown Los Angeles, and working as a creative marketing intern at a women’s fashion brand based in Manhattan, I landed a role at Fox Searchlight Pictures as a publicity assistant. This expanded my knowledge of the various paths within the entertainment industry and taught me to be very efficient, task-oriented, and independent.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, I finished writing my second feature film, several short films, and a novella, developed an episodic sitcom series, safely shot a short film, photographed and styled an editorial, made strong headway on two novels, and created a brand book for a developing streetwear label. My short film SEASONS was also chosen as a semi-finalist in the New York International Screenplay Awards.
Currently I am pursuing career opportunities as it relates to directing, writing, or creative marketing, particularly regarding fashion or pop culture. I take any chance to develop myself as a professional and enjoy learning about additional interests of mine, such as architecture and photography.
At the end of the day, I have an undying passion for entertainment, the arts, and human connection, all through diverse storytelling. And these passions are so strong that they sometimes drives me mad – mad to live. But it’s the mad ones who make history.
